Abstract

This communication is the first approach to the study of the Social Theory of Risk applied to farmers who have suffered from adverse weather events over five years. We believe that from the social theory of risk can be known and deepened in a more holistic conception of social vulnerability of farmers in this area. We also believe that knowledge of certain risk factors and decision-making process resulting from a complex plot that involves subjective factors, objective factors such as accumulated and historically constructed that can lead to further strengthening organizational experiences.
