The political action of the Federación Agraria Argentina during the Convertibility period

Abstract
In this article we focus on the political action of the Federación Agraria Argentina during the period of the convertibility (1991-2001). Specifically, we aim to establish the relation between this organization and the neoliberal governments, as well as with other rural organizations. To this end, we will seek to rebuild the series of political actions undertaken by this entity and its interpretation of the political and economic situation, by using newspaper notes, entity documents and interviews with its members as sources. As main results, we can stand out that the “neoliberal model" is identified as the main enemy, and that the FAA has approached entities that had previously faced.
