Abstract
This paper addresses the unification of “cañero tucumano” guil on the origins of Peronism. Tucuman cane growers have a long tradition of associations that began in the late nineteenth century with the modernization of the sugar industry, with the particularity of the coexistence of several trade associations that arise from the recurrent crises in the sector and cross-cutting disputes. Thus, in this paper we analyze the process by which the union abandoned its tradition of associations cane astray, lead to the formation of a unified guild called Independent Union of Sugarcane Tucumán
